Hi Samurai,
I do prefer softer images at sea, as otherwise the waves steal the focus, not the horizon. I tried exposure compensation, but then the images don't feel right...you know what i mean.
Besides i consider myself an absolute newbie here.

Spot on Karl. The place is good. Nice location. But the food was just so-so.
Same location by day & evening: (visited at different times) Camera angle slightly changed in the evening shot to reflect the sky in the canal water.
