Is there any way to use photostich without a tripod?

Photostich can be used without tripod too. IMHO try using PS you will get excellent results as compared to photostich. once I upgrade my pc's RAM I will try this in PS :D

Very well exposed, not an easy one to meter. How did you meter it, how much compensation?

Sunset Viewing

Guyonblackbyx, that is an excellent image! what time of day did you shoot it?

My Canon A520 P&S has a stich assist. I am not able to see it on my EOS 350D. Any way to do panaromas on the 350D apart from using photoshop?

Use a tripod, take pictures with overlapping edges. Use the software you got with your A520 and you should be good.

Hey Mail4ajo, 350D is a SLR and it does not have a "Live View"(Live View allows us to view and align the pictures as panorama) where as in you P&S you have a live view because of P&S/Compact/Cell phone cameras come with feature for Panoramas. Hope I am clear.

But this is not same with Canon 40D. Even tough it is a SLR it comes with Live View(First Canon SLR with a Live View as far as I know). So you it may have the feature of shooting panoramas on the cam unlike 350D or other SLRs.

Using photoshop is best way to create a panoram. To get the best result u need to use tripod. :D

I think Olympus had the first DSLR with Live view.

Doesn't it seem like the one of the left is the 'guy showing off' and the right side is the girl 'impressed and shy' in front of her mate?
