A snap which I took on my cell W800i. Surprisingly came out pretty well (or so I think).

prajesh, the last one from that set is a beautiful snap. nice steady shot and the color of the sky in the background makes it look all the more better.

Shot these two days back.

It was a lazy sunday afternoon...so tried taking some pictures from the terrace using the manual mode on the canon S5 IS. Learnt how difficult it is to take pictures of objects having a bright sky as background. All pics are handheld ( not that they look great :D )

Kite hovering
shutter speed 1/250 , aperture f/5 , iso 80.

Neighbourhood
shutter speed 1/100, aperture f/6.3, iso 100

the Squirell
shutter speed 1/100, aperture f/6.3, iso 100

the tower
shutter speed 1/200, aperture f/8, iso 80

any tips to take pictures of brids in flight against a bright sky?

Mod's Note: Do not quote a full message, particularly those laden with images, just to put up a single line response or a congratulatory messages. Better still use PMs for these messages.

Thats a good pic to start with CrAzY dRiVeR...According to me a good photographer will take pics of moments that will most often be left unoticed...
I believe you have the potential to become a great photographer if you do your home work!!
