Lovely shots Rudrada.

What do you use for B&W photos? Just photoshop or a dedicated B&W converting software?

I was in Ladakh for a few days, here is an Yakscape:

Excuse the oversharpening and IQ since I resized an existing JPEG, which was available on my work machine. The NEFs and TIFs are in the home machine.

Nice shot. The eagle looks pretty similar to a kite. Is the main difference the lack of forked tail?

Thank you. Again another Kaas shot, during the non-flowering season. First long distance on the Duster. (Almost 2 years back).

And an amazing shot of the Sambar. Looks like 7100 is serving you well. I am thinking about upgrading from 550D to 7D-II. Waiting for the specs and pricing. Should be announced this September (hopefully).

The 7D Mk2 is an action camera, and will cry for the long bazookas

I have started fancying the D810. IF I can live with the compromised, it will make for a great all rounder along with the Tamron 150-600 which will still give me 600mm reach.

Loved the lighting. Beautiful feel !

I am still struggling to get sharp pictures handholding the biggie, Sigma 150-500 consistently. When light gets a bit low, it’s even worst.

Was behind some of these tiny beauties recently !

I'm a big admirer of your photography since when I was not even a member. The Jetta review had some brilliant automotive photography in it.

Will you please share what equipments you used in the above shot?

You got pretty close, how? was in domesticated?

@Nilanjan Yes one of the difference is forked tail (black Kite, Brahminy Kites dont have forked tail), thats the easiest way to ID specificaly when they are flying at high altitude, but when kits are changing direction their tail dont tak the fork shape, which can cause lot of confusion (Diff image 2 & 3).

However there many other features that can help you differentiate Kites from Eagles: First major visible difference between a Kite and Eagle is that of size, most of the Eagles are double the size as compared to a Black Kite (Fig 4(Black Kite),5(Greater Spotted Eagle), 6(Short toed Snake eagle), 1(Crested Serpent Eagle)). 2nd is the Size of head and beak, Eagles have huge beaks. 3rd is the plumage. Attached are few images for your reference
