There is a lot more to this. Mercedes is offering a free ticket to its museum in Stuttgart for the drivers of BMW and also free snacks for first BMW guests ! On the surface, it looks a great brotherhood, but inside, its good humor + marketing. Very genius.
Here is an old ad, I think sometimes in 2001 ....found somewhere on internet.

For real, or someone just ebing imaginative, either with PS, or opportune placement?
That needs a special scale of spirit/dumb. probably 51 on one from 1 to 35!
I know Thad E Ginathom Loves their ice creams but did not expect Hotel Saravana Bhavan to be less than 8 kilometres from Reykjanes Peninsula, forget being anywhere closer to Iceland.
Actual Link
here :uncontrol
Ha Ha! I'd actually forgotten about their fresh-fruit ice-creams! In general, I'm not that keen on their restaurants, but if it so easy to get to iceland from one of them them, then please... tell me which one!
lol:
Got this on Whats-app.
Another clever one from Mercedes. While congratulating BMW for completing 100 yrs, they also make a subtle point that they have been there longer.
"The previous 30 years were actually a bit boring"

I think this taking-a-dig advertising between German car makers started some decades ago, maybe 1980s? It is good fun: thanks for putting them here!
By the way, isn't the oldest surviving car maker actually Skoda?

Skoda's poster would probably say:
"For once, the joke's not on us!"
