How to avoid the LCD screen afterimage?
http://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1001360/
LCD screen in normal use, the screen does not appear the image blur phenomenon。
The screen to use an image continuously changes in the normal mode. When the image displayed on the screen for a long time (such as a single-screen still) remain unchanged over 720 minutes(=12 hours),It will cause the control of the liquid crystal pixel to produce small changes in voltage between the two electrodes of the image is displayed, With the time changes the voltage between the electrodes will continue to grow, Let the LCD pixel mutate or tilt, When a still picture is idle for too long, When the image changes again the previously displayed image will also be seen that this phenomenon is the so-called image blur); In order to prevent this from happening accumulated voltage between the two electrodes must be freed.
The suggestions as below:
1. Do not use more than 20 hours. If over, please turn off the screen power for 4 hours
2. When used over 12 hours, you must turn off the power for more than 2 hours
3. Increase in PC power saving mode a screen power protection on or off the mode
4. As much as possible to activate the screen saver when not in use (tips in the screen saver is set to dynamic picture)
