Yup. But this one sure had a creaking noise from the bonnet. And to add to that even the driver's side door was a little out of the bodyline of the car.

Thanks for sharing the scoop, X-Machine. Good find, though I hope this thing never makes it to Indian showrooms. The guy you met could be looking at importing this as a new business.

GTO: Maybe he's looking at this new business. But i hope, he does'nt. Its not a car one would be pleased to see on our roads.

Jesal: Yep. Im very sure it was Santro sized. Infact it can substitute our rickshaws very easily.

Motorheadinc: He was'nt willing to disclose the price or any other details. Wonder why?

Zotye Pictures: China

Hey guys have a look at the real Zotye here in China. It is bigger than the Santro, maybe will match the size of the Getz.

This vehicle had a thick layer of dirt on it and from the photos you can see that it has taken some real beating.

There is a chinese company which had inspected the 1000 acres of land orginally slated for the Tata Nano and which is lying now unused. It had meet the CM of WB sometime back to discuss the possibility of constructing a automobile plant there.I cant remember the company's name.I will try dig up the article.

Why are we discussing this, is it coming to India? or was that a one off import?

Electric SUV, seems a bit off beat. SUV's could atleast use Diesel / Petrol. If a crime is to be done then might as well do it well. Focus of electrics should be on Sedans (which are the majority (except in USA)) to start with.
