2025 Tata Tiago.ev Facelift Interior Images
In keeping with the times, the Tiago.ev gets a floating touchscreen head unit. Other changes include a two-spoke steering wheel from the Tata parts bin and dual-tone fabric upholstery. The blue inserts found at various places on the dashboard have disappeared:
Leatherette-wrapped two-spoke steering wheel with a flat bottom and silver insert is taken from other Tata cars. It comes with a backlit "T" badge and buttons. The light colour will result in it getting soiled very easily:
Buttons for the audio system, telephony, and voice commands are placed on the left spoke, while cruise control buttons and toggle switch to scroll through the MID are placed on the right spoke:
Digital instrument cluster gets new graphics. The meter on the left shows how much power is being used or regenerated (dependent on the accelerator input, similar to an ICE car's rpm counter). You have a battery level indicator on the right and above that, you get the regen level indicator:
MID is pretty basic and shows the time, outside temperature, odometer, two trip meters, speed, charge level, transmission mode, range, average energy consumption (AEC), etc. The ‘Ready’ sign below the transmission mode indicates that the car is ready to drive:
Selected transmission mode (R, N, D & S) is displayed on the left of the MID. As mentioned earlier, the rear seat gets occupant sensors. The display is on the right of the MID. The door open warning display is below. It shows the exact door (or hatch) that is open. No warning for the bonnet though:
A/C vents get glossy black housings with chrome inserts. However, they do not get blue highlights any more:
Even the top variant now gets fabric upholstery. No leatherette on offer here:
A closer look at the fabric upholstery and contrast white stitching. Quality of fabric is acceptable:
Apart from the floating touchscreen at the top and a change in the shape and placement of the A/C vents, the centre fascia remains identical in design to the outgoing car:
10.25-inch floating touchscreen head-unit is easy to use and has good response times:
It gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Through iRA.ev app, you can get telematics and smartphone & smartwatch connectivity:
Touchscreen also serves as a display for the climate control system:
Navigation is through Android Auto/Apple CarPlay:
You also get a rear-view camera display with adaptive guidelines and a parking sensor display. Camera quality is very good for a car of this price:
A/C vents are located below the touchscreen head unit. They get a chrome outline and a glossy black console with "TIAGO.EV" lettering:
Hazard light switch has been moved from between the A/C vents to this array below the A/C vents. Since foglamps have been deleted, the switch has gone too. The door lock/unlock switch has been deleted as well:
Climate control system now comes with an inbuilt pollen filter:
A fast-charging Type-C USB port has been added between the Type-A USB port and 12V power outlet:
Rear seats get identical upholstery to the front units:
3-point seatbelts and sensors have been provided for all occupants. What is irritating is that even if there is no one in the rear and the seatbelts are not buckled in, the seatbelt warning chime starts sounding as the car starts moving. A simple load sensor should solve this issue. The chime stops after a while:
All variants are equipped with ISOFIX child seat anchors:
