Range has been the achilles heel for this car. I mean the amount that I drive, I need to charge the car once in 3-4 days.

I can use the home charging which for each charge will cost me approximately $4 dollars for 40kwh and, If I charge 10 times in a month, that's a monthly cost of $40 for electricity usage.

But, I got the free charging option and since I want to make use of it, it's rather inconvenient to charge at an external charging location and sit in the car for 30-40 mins every 3-4 days. But, being a true Indian, I like to get full value out of the available offer.

I may get bored of visiting the external charging station and may start full time charging at home. Let's see when it happens. For now, I am excited to use the "free" offer.

Yesterday, I left the car for charging and hereon decided I will charge it to 90% or 100% to make full use of its 240 miles range as I can't keep going back every 3-4 days.

When I returned from shopping in Target, I was pleasantly surprised to see an identical car charging next to mine- What are the odds to see this sight. lol!

Also, oddly Mercedes Benz adds $10 each time to your MB account till you use it and replenishes the amount after each charge is expensed out.

I get a text and an email after each charge. $10 replenished after each charge. Interesting...huh?
