My other concern which doesn't seem to be very common is the suspension. I feel like I'm doing something wrong with the suspension for it to work perfectly.
First of all, congratulations!

Can you please share some photos of the internal piano black surfaces with PPF? Did you get a matte PPF inside or glossy?

What do you mean about the suspension? Please elaborate!

See if the PPF guys can do it themselves. I can imagine your pain though. Or maybe the dealer themselves can do something. I'm slightly worried that the size is so small if they will be able to do it. You need that tiny hammer that pushes it outwards

People around me still getting used to gently closing the doors because we had to close the Maruti doors pretty hard for it to lock in place. Every time they slam, my heart breaks

Sure. Will share pictures when I take them. I put gloss PPF on everything that was Piano Black. Inside and outside.

So when I hit a pothole, it always feels very non elegant. This has not been the experience with other rides. Its only when its a pothole. On rough roads the thing is smooth.

I'm not sure if its a specific problem with my car, configuration or the Bangalore roads are just out of this world.

Does it require too much dismantling? Were there any issues with clips or misalignment later? What was the cost totally?

Could you share a pic of the internal black trim ppf. What all were covered and was that too dismantled before ppf? Were these precut or did they cut it on the spot?

My odo was at 81kms on delivery and a full charge.
Currently at 780kms.
Got 495kms on a charge. Currently my Charged once on a DC unit and one on a Bolt. Earth 11kw unit to just top off from 41%.

Could you do me a favour and share the following.

1.Also can you please record a video of the review view mirrors(particularly the dip on reverse feature on your be6) and share here please. My mirrors dont do much. They basically try and move by a few mm and stop. Ive seen this feature on other cars and they move enough to show the rear tyres. These hardly move enough to show the door handle.

2. Also a pic of the central console( key slot, start stop button etc) with the ambient lights turned on. My ambient lights have not been turning on as shared on a previous post. And I realised a bit too late that it existed.

3. Also do your keyfob forward and backword ( auto park with keyfob and mobile) work? My auto park works flawlessly when a rectangle is selected. But nothing else.

5. The DOMS system(drowsiness and driver monitor) working for you? Do they give alerts?

I am visiting the dealership at Bommasandra on the 4th to see if these can be fixed and some videos or pics of them working would help. I must add that Sireesh and its service is spot on. They have been at the top of their game in trying to resolve the issues.

Thank you in advance.

Folks who have their vehicle delivered in Bangalore, is the car fully loaded with all features or are you waiting for many updates like apple CarPlay etc?

Yes. All the piano black panels on the sides, front and back had to be removed. I got it done for around 1.10 all inclusive. I did get a discount because he got some marketing done through the car being there. But the cost is much higher if its a combination of matte and gloss. Only gloss should be much cheaper even for 10 years warranty.

Not sure if they were precut but they did a damn good job of it. nothing internally was dismantled.

Try this:
The side menu > Secure 360 > Wait for the signal to turn Green on top left > click on the car below > enter your pin > wait for about 20 seconds for it to load the stream.

Do note that this needs high speed networks on both the vehicle and the phone

Sure will do today when I'm reversing and share.

Sure thing. Should be in the same video.

I've not yet tried this near home. But let me try in the office parking place and see if it works.
Auto park is supposed to work only with the rectangle selected in one of the three options [Vertical, horizontal and diagonal]

Not sure because its on in my car but I've not had instances of me being drowsy or distracted. Maybe Ashish can help with this.

Apple carplay always comes late in most Mahindra models but some of the cars have carplay. I don't use iOS but I have Carplay in my car already.

Also - I doubt this has anything to do with the location of delivery.

Re: Mahindra BE 6 Review

It seems like Mahindra is blocking VIN registrations without some updates being done and those updates are really really slow in getting done. The showroom hasn’t been able to even sell the first lot of cars which they have since weeks now.

There’s zero clarity by when they’ll be able to even sell the first lot and for us second lot owners it will happen god knows when. I paid my booking amount before 14th Feb to showroom directly and it doesn’t seem like I’ll get my vehicle in April or even May at the rate things are going.

The folks getting the car are getting it more buggy than the pre production test drive cars, with multiple functions not working and audio quality from even speakers has been screwed up with updates.

Honestly I’ve lost all interest or faith in Mahindra to handle software in this car. Does anyone else have more clarity in what’s going on? I’m considering to maybe cancel the booking and wait once things are sorted in a few months. But they will jack up the price by 2-3 lacs by then

The SA aren’t picking up my calls and when they do, they have zero idea of when it will happen, or even if I’ll ever get my car within 2025. The only thing certain is that hardly any deliveries are happening due to something seriously getting delayed in getting the cars updated. They have over 70 cars and only 1-2 deliveries are being done everyday.

Re: Mahindra BE 6 Review

Hi guys,
Can anyone who has taken the delivery of be6 tell if the v8 sonic sound(exterior) audible from the outside?
If yes, is it prominent enough or is it a faint sound?

I tried the inside v8 sonic sound on a test drive today, it was hardly audible inside.

Because in the preproduction beta vehicles the exterior sound was missing even though the option was active but the interior sound was good enough(probably because I tried it inside the showroom premises).

It's heard outside too. Its loud enough as in, if there are othervehicles around it may sound faint, but on a quite area, its audible. I have it turned off in my car, turned it on only once to show my family.

I feel for you. I have had the exact same with an even worse twist:

At least they’re doing something in your case. In my case it’s all radio silence. And the folks getting their cars are getting scratched up and buggy cars.

I expected the software and dealer situation to be bad but this is next level terrible. They just seem inept in handling this car.

The car is good but I’m feeling less and less confident every day on Mahindra’s software and especially dealer ability to handle this car.

The only silver lining is that it seems it’ll take 3-4 more months for even the current lot to clear. So for those of us in second lot things should get clearer over next couple of quarters.

That is a good range you got for a full charge. One query please. This 495kms was in which mode or was it a combination of eco and sports mode? What was the avg speed you drove to get this range in each modes? and was it full city driving like B2B traffic or sparse traffic and any highways also please.

I expected the forum to be bombarded with different users range efficiencies at different speeds and modes once the deliveries started but i still don't see many posts in that aspect.

What's the average speed for your trip there?

The first lot of cars (January and some February manufactured) need the whole set of updates.

The cars (March manufactured) that are reaching the dealerships are fully ready to be delivered with all the updates done.
