1. You have mentioned "Spoiler" in the list of accessories purchased. Are you talking about the rear spoiler? Is rear spoiler an add-on?

2. Since it's been a while now, Is the car having any issues after getting the PPF done? I am considering to get the PPF done in the showroom itself so that they take responsibility if anything goes wrong. Also, once i get my car delivered, I will be taking it to our farm as well, so, is it worth getting done a PPF and then a ceramic coat on top of it? I want to have the new-car feel for as long as possible.

3. I have read a few articles saying that the car has a lot of glitches. Have you experienced any so far?

4. How's the music system? There was so much hype about it but i was utterly disappointed with the sound quality in the test drive car. Do you feel the hype is real? Can you feel the thumping bass and crystal clear vocals? In the test drive car, it sounded similar to the OEM speakers of my Maruti. They advertised about DOLBY ATMOS 3D SURROUND SOUND etc. but I didn't feel any of it. I tried playing the music through my phone and also tried it on the in-built youtube app. not much of a difference.

5. Any suggestions or points you would like to throw across that i may want to keep in mind before taking the delivery of the car?

Yes it's an OEM accessory from Mahindra. It attaches on top of the existing aero winglets on the car.

Most of the owners here have seen maybe one or two glitch out of hundreds of hours of collective driving.
It absolutely is not "lot of glitches".
I have tested almost every system the car has to offer. Including all the ADAS features, Self park etc. It all works.

If you were playing over bluetooth, it's limited to stereo. This does not engage all the speakers in the system, and can sound pretty average.
Same with the YT app. The content needs to be good quality Dolby encoded.
I have tried playing a LOT of Dolby encoded songs from the built-in Gaana app, and the speaker system does come to life with proper quality input.

"Thumping bass and crystal clear vocals" is a bit of an over-simplification and not the true spirit of a surround system.
Surround sound is about a wide sound-stage and clear separation between the various instruments and voices. If you just want heavy bass and sharp voices, that can be achieved with even cheap subwoofers and moderator dual coil speakers.

Re: Mahindra BE 6 Review

Is that walk away lock and approach unlock feature working?

Are you all able to create profile in the car?

Both are not working for me.

Hi guys, in just 5 days i have clocked a thousand kilometres. Absolutely blissful driving. Soaks up all the bumps like a thar on bad roads and off roads(i owned a thar so i can relate). Getting a mileage of around 475 in mixed driving conditions and by no means im a sedate driver nor a speedster. No glitches as far as i know except-

walk away lock and approach unlock feature not working.

Haven't tried the profile thing.

Can anybody help me with how to activate auto regen please?

Also please help me with permanently activating door open interior lights on. I have to always activate it when I start afresh.

Music and air-conditioning always on when starting everything. It's annoying, it needs to be fixed.

For the Auto Regen, just press and hold Regen Minus button for about 3 seconds and you will see the icon changing to A from L1.

Rest all features auto resetting seems to be due to lack of profile and everything going to default mode upon restarting the car. Apparently Profile option is only working on older software versions and is not available at the moment.

This isn't working for anyone as of yet. It will likely come up in the first software update.

While above 20kmph, press and hold the minus paddle for 3 seconds, and leave it. It switches to auto regen. Do keep in mind that it will not switch to auto if you keep holding it.

Same here.

For me music resumes at the last source and last volume level. It doesn't suddenly go full blast.
AC: It resumes at last setting. This is expected behaviour. It starts at the last setting, and then if it is in Auto mode, it adjusts the fan speed.

Enable Cruise control by pressing the CRUISE ON/OFF button. Once enabled, Cruise control will mode to Standby. Drive the vehicle to the desired cruising speed (any value greater than 20 kmph), press the SET+ button to activate Cruise.

This is what the manual says. Link to user manual: https://www.mahindraelectricsuv.com/...anual_BE6.html

Looks like that is impossible. I think, I'm starting to get why so! In a vehicle with ACC (with an ability to do full stop and go), CC will cause utter confusion and driver may expect the vehicle to brake.

Probably for the same reason, there is no button to pause cruise control too, other than using the brake pedal. While you can disable it all together using a button.

That's very inconvenient. I was at ease with cruise control.
ACC on our highway traffic conditions is annoying and very intrusive

You can start cruise control, and then disable lane centering function.
I think even the time gap setting you can set to max so that it doesn't brake early.

Fantastic to know the trip details.

One of the BE 6 twins, the same colour, is parked right below my building and I've been drooling on the car since yesterday evening . Almost everyone taking an evening and morning stroll was looking at the car again and again. It is indeed gorgeous to look at in person and huge, too.

Mahindra has indeed hit a bull's eye with BE 6 and XEV9. Hope the initial niggles get solved at the earliest and they should achieve the full potential they deserve. Craving to lay my hands on a long test drive, especially ADAS features on highways. That's why I am keeping an eye on all the feedback.

Re: Mahindra BE 6 Review

I wanted to sell my 2021 Thar and go for BE 6E.
After looking at this awesome review and reading all the comments from my fellow brethren, I shall wait for more few years for a better car.

Thank you for answering the questions...i tried playing over the bluetooth and also i have tried playing on their built-in youtube app (i played the demo of dolby atmos). most of my playlists are on spotify...i hope theres's a built-in spotify app... i love Gaana app for it's quality but it has limited songs on its app. I do prefeer the thumping bass(not completely over the top but a lil bit). Anywy, i feel happy that you said built-apps give better sound output.

Re: Mahindra BE 6 Review

A fellow owner is now seeing CarPlay as an option on (what looks like) his XEV 9E.

Please check and report if anyone else is also seeing this option.
