Why else will BE6 be camouflaged, it was always on cards to launch this car with an additional front motor. It would had happened during launch itself but sadly the Volkswagen deal fell through.

The power figures are 330 Bhp for Short Battery (59 kwh)
and 380 Bhp for Long Battery (79 Kwh)

According to mahindra they have used some UV protection glass. Is it really helpful or do we go in for the after market films like we do on other cars.
Peak summer here in Bangalore and the car was in the sun today as I was working from home. Despite blasting the AC after I got in, it did take a significant amount of time to cool down. I'm getting the sun film done on Wednesday.

I got it done. My PPF detailer agreed to do it for free. Its definitely possible and there was no damage done.

It's genuinely annoying.

I know mahindra reads this forum, please send us an update correcting this
Mine usually goes straight to Android Auto. Have you tried clicking on the mode button on steering wheel and going to the bluetooth? Maybe that'll work?

Dude, did you get your car? What is India Garage saying?

They just got one allocation for black this time around, and that was for a guy who booked directly and not through dealer, so they couldn’t allocate to me.

They’re saying I can get my car anytime if I change the Color to anything except black and orange.

So yeah, maybe I’ll get my car next year at this rate. I’ve just given up on my allocation. The positive side is that maybe they’ll announce the AWD variant in next few months so I’ll get that instead

A 100 different things can be 'under test' on a camouflaged car, no? To say that a camouflaged BE6 is the AWD version without having anything to support seems like 100 % speculation. And Volkswagen has nearly nothing to do with the BE6 or the XEV 9e.

Cheers,

Jay

No Volkswagen did have everything to do with the cars. Initially the cars were to be powered by Motors sourced from Volkswagen

What's the source of your information? This is an accurate representation of key parts in the Mahindra BE6 and XEV 9e.

Yes, 'initially', MEB parts were to be used but the deal never went through. I have Mahindra engineers on record saying that there's little to no VW parts in the car save for a connector or two.

Cheers,

Jay

Oh so you're saying you got them to remove all the gloss black interior panels for PPF application?
