This DB connects to the source meter and the charger plugs into the DB. Distance from meter should be ok, but cost of the cable is what might be more. The DB needs a 6 square cable from the meter. The charger input cable is 1m by default I think, so that dist between charger and DB can be few feet without modifying the charger input.

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

Despite the dealership’s initial commitment to a 16th March delivery and M&M's assurance of a "Mid-March" timeline, the entire delivery process remains frustratingly vague. Like many others, my enthusiasm for the car is rapidly fading. The excitement I had just yesterday has now vanished, drowned out by the same old excuses circulating in forums.

From the moment of booking, customers have been left suffering ;restless, confused, and utterly disappointed with M&M’s opaque operational model. Given the brand’s history of delivery delays, the anxiety surrounding this car is no longer about range ,it’s about whether we’ll even get our vehicles anytime soon.

M&M has utterly failed its customers across multiple aspects:

* Unclear charger policies that left buyers dissatisfied
* Discrepancies in insurance costs with no justification
* Ambiguous range tests that fail to inspire confidence
* Persistent software glitches reported across vehicles
* Unclear subscription costs with no transparency
* Constant changes in warranty terms causing uncertainty
* Inflated accessory pricing with no proper disclosure or pricings that are announced
* Chaotic charger installation processes leaving customers stranded

Worst of all, customer support is practically useless; they merely log complaints and route them back to the very dealerships causing the issues. Even when dealerships are at fault, escalations simply get forwarded to the dealership’s own managers, whose responses are predictably disappointing.

It has now been a month since booking. Many customers have already cleared their invoices after enduring endless struggles, yet progress has completely stagnated. The longer this drags on, the more evident it becomes that deliveries will be delayed, and any excitement we once had for this vehicle has now crumbled into frustration.

Personally, my patience is exhausted. As a Beta tester, I’m not only concerned about the delay but also about what further disappointments await when the vehicle finally arrives. To make matters worse, I sold my old car a month ago, believing M&M’s delivery timelines despite of their track earlier. Now, my daily routine is severely disrupted, and the impact is massive.

M&M, if you’re going to delay deliveries, at least ensure the vehicles are free from major glitches. At this point, the only way to justify this chaos is to guarantee that customers receive a well polished, problem free vehicle; because right now, you’re failing us at every turn.

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

From what i could gather from my SA - the delivery is getting delayed because of 2 reasons - First Mahindra is trying to push out some last minute software update probably to fix some bugs. It is an incredibly complex vehicle with tons of settings and feature - expect some bugs even after this which will eventually get fixed with time. However i expect the basic functioning of the vehicle to be fine for the most part since Mahindra has sourced good components for this vehicle. Here is the list of supplies https://www.autocarpro.in/feature/re...st-bevs-124391

Secondly the dealers have all been instructed by Mahindra to do an event for first batch and deliver 20-50 cars at once at a hotel or some venue rather than individual deliveries. So the dealers are trying to get chargers and payments sorted for all the first batch allotees before they do the event.

I have myself booked a stealth black. My loan has been approved and also given 50k deposit to dealer however charger process hasnt been initiated for me. I and eagerly awaiting delivery as i am in this first batch allottee. Had booked via PDC.

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

I can understand the software update situation, and happy to wait for a few days for that. We are still in mid-march and no big delay yet.

But I really don’t want to be part of a grand delivery marketing event with customers whose patience has already been tested!

I think this makes sense for metropolitan cities, but in tier 2 and tier 3 cities (where these amount of bookings have not taken place) shouldn't individual deliveries be allowed?

I think they will just end up doing individual deliveries with maybe a small event since sorting out payments, charger setup and organizing the event is a massive headache and time consuming and people will get impatient and want deliveries.

While doing my PDI I met a team from Mahindra Chennai & Hyderabad doing physical software updates at the stockyard. I am sure this is a time consuming process and we should cut them some slack if they have to do this for all dealers across India.

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

Has anybody got an update regarding the new keys for Mahindra XEV 9e? Will we get these? When I did my PDI ON 8th March I had seen old keys with light green button. These updated ones look good and premium. They have even added a loop for key chains.

The person in this video seems to be a part of some Mahindra dealership, he is heard saying, final have received a letter from Mahindra and it contains “ delivery keys” and then starts describing it.

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

Just checked with my dealership at Mumbai- They aren't aware of a new key. But the sense i got was that Mahindra is taking decisions on multiple things at lightening pace. So they said that when we actually get delivery, the new keys might be bundled.

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

New Me4U app is live on iOS AppStore here. I guess Android app will also be released soon.

Also, there is a screenshot of the app where heart rate is mentioned. Not sure whose heart rate they are talking about . Is it by any chance linked to Race mode?

Re: Mahindra XEV 9e Review

How will they measure the heart rate?
If they are able to with accuracy, it would be a fun metric to track

As per the about the app it quotes-

This app integrates with the Health app.

That means it's pulling the data from your iPhone health app which itself gets data from other fitness trackers including Apple Watch.

I'm assuming the same thing will be done on Android as well.

Not officially though, some dealership are delivering them but not all. Can confirm it with the Vahan data where the registrations are not showing up. Most likely will start tomorrow
