It looks super cute, and the Chinese have proven time and time again that they know how to make a good EV powertrain. The fact that it's the donor car for the MINI EV should be proof enough that it's a good buy.
I cannot believe someone would actually name the car '
Good Cat'.
I mean, calling a car HellCat is something else; looks like it is from hell, nothing to do with any Cat - so its ok and it goes like Hell too.
But if you are going to make a car that looks it is heavily inclined towards the fairer sex, at least make an attempt to impress the male audience too.
Ora Bad Cat for starters?

Nothing sounds funny like Good Cat

After a bit of searching, I found
this
The names come from a
Deng Xiaoping quote:‘No matter if it is a white cat or a black cat; as long as it can catch mice, it is a good cat.’
It's a funny name and I love it. rl: They have other models too named after the quote like Ora black cat and white cat.
The car looks fantastic too, I immediately fell in love with the looks!
If Fiat 500, Suzuki Swift and Nissan Micra had a ménage à trois, this electrified kitty would be the output!

In Europe it used to be called the Ora Funky Cat, although now all GWM brands have been merged as sub-brands under a single umbrella and it is now called a rather mundane GWM Ora 03.

OT: The quoted part is an add on really. The sections before that are about the ideological shift in China in the 1980s to what they called Socialist Market Economy.
I actually loved the car and it reminded me of good old Matiz which I used to like (and dreamt of buying one day!). :)
I have seen this car a few years back, and i was instantly impressed with its compact design and amazing looks and that name is just pure love for all cat lovers (like me).
Such kind of cars are needed in India, that are affordable and at the same time stylish and compact for city traffic.

I think they meant to call it
Good Car and iPhone autocorrected car to cat, as usual.
The rear end has Nissan Leaf like shape.
I love it just for that name though :D
