Porshce Butchered the 'Macan' to make it look like a soap dish with battery.

Once upon a time Macan GTS sold for this price then the Macan S, sad to the best compact driver's SUV become another EV in the ocean of EV cars. Next Up the Cayman and boxters.

Dream of owning a dream Porsche is getting distant each year.

That's why the best Porsche to buy is an old pre-loved one. Pick the generation you like/adore and spend time finding the right spec, clean car.

I disagree. The best Porsche to buy in India is a new one. Unfortunately the customer base for Porsche in India is very limited, and most cars change so many hands without transfer that you will be surprised. Most cars in the secondary markets are repaired, painted or changed in ways most people cannot tell. Additionally the pricing of all used Porsche are no where sensible.

As I said, it takes time but it is not impossible. I speak from experience as you can see in my signature. As for "sensible", there is no such thing when it comes to this market. You said it right, it is a very limited customer base, and there are very few out there. But if you know the right circles, you'll find your dream.

The only reason I said pre-loved Porsche is the way to go, because you cannot get a hydraulic steering today, you cannot get a NA 6-cyl without spending a bomb on a GT today, and so many other things. When it comes to these, Carplay/tech etc makes no difference. So yeah, a new Porsche may in fact be more boring than an old one.

Of course, these are our individual opinions, and they should differ!

Back to the topic, the pricing of this RWD Macan EV is absolutely nuts. Easily 40% more than it should be. The Turbo makes a bit of sense.
