Ferrari has already confirmed that it is working on its first-ever pure-electric car.

The first Ferrari EV will make its global debut by late next year. Now, ahead of its arrival though, images of what seems to be the upcoming Ferrari EV have been released online; giving us the first glimpse of the upcoming electric model.



The prototype of the electric Ferrari was spotted at Maranello, wearing a modified body of the Maserati Levante. However, what is recognisable is the headlights borrowed from the Ferrari Roma. The test mule also has unique alloy wheels, possibly without its aero covers.



The body also wears yellow high-voltage stickers confirming it is an electric vehicle, however, the test mule does feature fake exhausts for comic relief. Ferrari is yet to officially confirm the body style of its upcoming EV.

The upcoming Ferrari EV will be built at the brand's new 'e-building' which it recently inaugurated. Ferrari also announced that its upcoming EV will feature an "authentic" sound. In addition to this, rumours also hinted at a $500,000 price tag for the EV, however, Ferrari CEO, was quick to dismiss this report.
