Guys, do you think this offer is best or can it be bettered as its nearly the year end.

Also, what kind of actual world mileage / range are you guys getting from the Performance (3.8s) variant?

Thanks..

I think it's a good offer, close it if you're keen on the car. I bought an Atto 3 around 6 months after launch and got no discount whatsoever.

2.5 is what they've got approved at the moment and that's what your dealer is passing on to you. Not much to be had other than that.

Re: BYD Seal Review

Is the app live for the car? If yes, can anyone post pictures? Also, are the software updates OTA or does one have to go to the service center?

I would suggest you wait some more time if your heart is set on the car. I believe them mid variant can be had for close to 40 on road (Given zero/minimal state taxes) in 4-5 months. Chinese inventory movement is quick and they've suffered a huge setback from EV sales tumbling, specially near zero sales in Delhi.

I had booked one in Sept. but then Delhi govt. introduced 10% road tax and they got zero sales for the month.

What’s the final offer price you closed it at? Congratulations and happy miles!

Nothing much.

I paid 53.50 lac all inclusive On Road Noida. UP road tax is nil. Including Insurance and a 3 yrs service package. As offered earlier.

Plus a 25k for a fancy number.

Just confirming that this is “Arctic Blue” and not the Atlantis Grey colour! Thank you in advance. Hope you’re enjoying the drives.

Just go ahead and get one but mind any price adjustments which may come up.
Hi!

Can you elaborate on the FSD semi-adaptive suspension in the AWD version please? Is the difference that noticeable - have you also test driven the Premium variant? Any help is appreciated.

Thank you!

I don't understand, there is so much leg space at the rear, then why is the seat designed so poorly!

Where shall I use the 500+ HP on Indian roads

The ground clearance is the lowest in the segment. Is this vehicle designed to be driven on "test drive" track only? Why are the real world conditions being ignored, or wait, perhaps this vehicle was never designed for our country

Not to forget un-openable sun roof, no physical controls, and negligible dealer network. Perhaps it is only me, yet I fail to see a single reason to buy this car. I may as well get two cars in this much money, a xuv 400 for the high running / mileage, and EV acceleration, and also buy a Scorpio N / Crysta / Hycross for hauling the whole family. Where is the value for money that fellow members are claiming? Please enlighten me.

A harsh opinion but very true (ignoring the the comparison with a different class of cars towards the end of the quote).

- Back seat looks uncomfortable. Under thigh support is poor. Could have designed it better with all the space at the rear.

- Can't and will not accept the fact that this car is built for Indian roads. I own a '22 Octy. Even that car has scraped 3-4 times ever so so slightly after driving carefully, a couple of times on a bad patch on highways, a couple of times on certain bad patches in the city itself. This thing will scrape its bottom on some badly built speed breakers itself, let alone bad patches.
That image shared by fellow BHPian FourBanger says enough.
On top of that, I don't understand when people mention stuff like 'plan your approach, proceed with caution and everything will be fine'. Can't do that always when 5 cars are honking behind you and 5 are waiting in front of you to pass.

- All that HP doesn't matter really in the horrible traffic conditions we have in our country in Tier1 and even many Tier2 cities. A tad bit more boot space, a spare tyre and better ride quality (going by certain comments) would have been more appreciated.

- Also, is that a complete glass roof without an option to cover it from the inside (blinds?)? Like .. what do I do during the summers? Get cooked into an omelette inside? (correct me if I am wrong here please)

- The lacking dealership & service network? I will that slide for now as BYD is still expanding.

- Everything else is okay. Range .. checked. Interiors are a personal preference .. checked. Gizmos/features .. checked.

Re: BYD Seal Review

Took the seal on a 1200 KMS round trip - A joy to drive but I found the suspension to be a bit soft and tending to lose composure on uneven road conditions. But the plus side is the comfy ride on smooth roads. Need to master the on road charging sequence so as to spend less time on charging.

Got a range of 400 kms from 100 % charge because of spirited driving . On the way back sedate driving gave a range of about 500 Kms

Was this the Performance model with FSD dampers or one of the lower variants?

I have noticed the same on my longish test drive — the Eastern Freeway in Bombay — the lane changes were a bit jarring to say the least! And even the speed-breakers around Antop Hill - Dadar area too were a bit of a tricky proposition.

Do the FSDs help? I think they do.
The iTAC surely helps in composure I reckon.

What’s the range efficiency you were able to manage on this 1200km trip? Thanks!
