If you call someone you aren't supposed to, the receiver's name will stay stuck on the digital instrument cluster. I'm expecting newer tricks with the latest software update.

4) First free service was a joke. They kept the car for a day, didn't touch a thing (didn't even reset service reminder alert) and sent it back dirty as hell. If you thought i grew thick skin before purchase, now I'm wearing an iron man suit !

It’s unbelievable how you manage to keep your calm with all this man! Just reading all this triggered my nerves & OCD and what not!

I would have grilled these guys every single day.

Tata cars and more importantly their folks (Sales or ASS) aren’t my cup of tea, for sure.

Even though this car is your beater (I presume) such issues or lack of elementary stuff is unpardonable.

I actually am. I find it easier to maintain. The surface is smooth now and easy to clean. The black cladding was rough and was harder to get the splash stains/dirt off.

Thats the update I got from my Sales advisor. Doesn't look like much discount on the Adventure LR which I was looking at. Earlier they were giving a discount of 30k and now the same amount has been reduced from the price.

Empowered + LR has a discount of 1L now, which I am now tempted towards.

No it won't be wrong. Cars like Tata Punch and Cruvv have lesser niggles

I can not tell in words how I feel right now as an owner of Punch EV Empowered + LR. It is no doubt been one of the best variants. It is a lakh cheaper than the price I paid for it. It feels like i could have waited. I think it's at a good price, if you are considering buying one.

I have a problem.
It has been over a week since I have taken delivery of the Tata Punch EV.
Though I have been onboarded into zconnect app, I am unable to add my vehicle to the tata motors website - ev.tatamotors.com
This prevents me from ordering genuine accessories. The dealership is unable to help - saying this is out of their scope of work.
Repeated emails to customercare@tatamotors.com has not elicited any response.
I have even called the complaint department twice (18002098282 - IVR option 4).
The first time, after a long hold they said they can only register complaints against their dealer. But as this is an internal problem with their website - they can't register a complaint at all. Finally they relented after a long argument - and provided me a complaint number - which surprise surprise - wasn't a valid complaint number at all.

To rub in the impact of non-inclusion in their systems - a recent incident:
I reached out to Go Auto/Treo Tata 3-4 days back , and they asked me what's the real reason I want to be onboarded into ev.tatamotors.com. I said I wanted a frunk.
Two days ago, the sales person calls and says a frunk can be made available for Rs 3500 all inclusive - but he won't be able to generate a bill. Imagine.
This is Tata Motors - saying they won't give a bill. Why so? Some bull about not having a part number for the frunk in their "system". And yet they are able to source it no problem.


Now, it feels like I am stuck with no recourse. If pointed disavowal of customer grievance is a way of life with Tata, then I think I have made the wrong decision.

I am wondering , what if anything a hapless customer can do?

Please try contacting dedicated Tata.EV service center in Sec-14 Gurugram. They will be able to support in a much better way.

Spoke with them. They offer supplementary "lifestyle" services - gifting/golfing etc. Nothing to do with internal issues of Tata Motors.

Bought mine from Cauvery Tata, Avalahalli, OMR as my home is just 10 mins from here. Didn't provide any sort of discount since I bought insurance myself. After much haggling, finally gave the mudguard for free. While booking, I told them that I wanted a fresh one from the factory & not from the stockyard. Vehicle was ready for PDI in 2 weeks.
Very complacent team. Won't ask you to buy anything extra. Didn't even bother to tell me about Extended warranty even during first service.

Need Help - Limp Mode Issue

Hi Folks,
After completing around 3000 kms in 3 months, post the monsoon my Punch.EV is giving me Limp Mode errors intermittently. (even at 99% battery)



1. It comes during the initial 5-10 mins of driving post which it goes away.
2. It comes when I switch driving modes and then goes away
3. On the ZConnect application i did a diagnosis and it showed the following error (Traction Motors Status NA)



I visited the SVC and they cleared all errors but still the issue persists.

Recently, my father installed a GPS in my vehicle for safety purpose which has very strong magnets, could that be a reason for the error?

Please advise on what to do, i have scheduled one more appointment for resolving the error.
