Yamaha has unveiled a new futuristic three-wheeler EV concept, the Tricera, which will showcased at the upcoming 2023 Japan Mobility Show.

The Yamaha Tricera trike concept features a delta design with two wheels at the front and a single wheel at the back. However, the interesting feature of the Tricera EV concept is its three-wheel steering which should help while taking extra tight turns. Yamaha offers both automatic and manual steering modes on the rear wheel. According to reports, the manual rear wheel steering mode is said to provide "a sense of accomplishment that comes when acquiring and developing new driving skills."



In terms of design, the Tricera features an open-top structure without doors, a steering wheel and a separation between the driver and the passenger. The Yamaha trike is said to offer riders an immersive driving experience.
