Tata Motors recently unveiled the Nexon facelift. Now, the all-electric version of the SUV is also set to receive similar updates. Here are a few leaked images of the Nexon EV facelift that have surfaced online just days ahead of its official reveal.



The most noticeable difference between the EV and the ICE version is the LED light bar that stretches across the front fascia. Also instead of a gloss black grille, the Nexon EV gets a body-coloured panel. The shape of the front bumper and air dam looks identical though.

At the rear, the Nexon EV gets new V-shaped LED tail lights connected by an LED strip. Apart from the "Nexon.EV" badge, the rest of the rear facia looks identical to the ICE version.



The Nexon EV facelift will be mechanically identical to the outgoing version. It will get two battery options: 30.2 kWh and 40.5 kWh, offering a range of up to 312 km and 453 km, respectively. While the long-range version comes with a 141 BHP electric motor, the former gets an electric motor that generates 127 BHP.

I wonder if there is so much of secret to revel. Imagine the new Nexon (we have now seen the reviews already), add a full frontal light bar in the front and now add the earlier Nexon's EV dynamics and features.

As with the ICE, I don't expect any changes in the drivetrain or other aspects of the EV including Range and Battery. If we are lucky then, may be, some minor improvements here and there, some new color seat fabric etc.

Maybe Tata will surprise everyone and work towards making the car more reliable. If reliability were to keep up with the great looks Tata would be number one!

Will this Nexon.ev be a so called second generation EV from Tata Motors? I think at the launch of Tiago they'd claimed the first generation EV launches were over.

Tata has unveiled the refreshed Nexon EV, and here are the features and updates of the new Nexon EV.

1. The Tata Nexon EV facelift is equipped with a 9-speaker audio system featuring a subwoofer. Users will have the option to select from various audio modes.
   
   
2. The updated Tata Nexon EV facelift offers a choice of seven distinct colours, all of which are available in dual-tone variations. The dual-tone options include blackened pillars and window panels for a stylish exterior appearance.
   
   
3. The Nexon EV is equipped with V2V (Vehicle-to-Vehicle) and V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) technology, enabling it to supply power to other devices and even charge another electric vehicle. This marks a significant milestone as it is the first mass-market segment vehicle in India to offer this feature.
   
   
4. The Nexon promises an impressive range of up to 465 km and boasts an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.9 seconds. It also reaches a top speed of 150 kph.
   
   
5. The Nexon EV has been equipped with a Gen II Motor which is lighter by 20kg.

Wowwww. Going through their live launch. Tata has hit it out of the park with the new generation Nexon EV.

They way they have launched the Nexon, it's pretty clear what their focus and future is gonna be - EV. ICE counterparts are going to be fillers from now on.
