Rushlane reports that Ford has started recruitment in India as well. Hope they are back. It will make the Indian car market more interesting with more choices.

Ford's R&D unit in Madras never closed. They have shut their manufacturing and sale of cars in India. A former colleague is still with Ford in his 10th year.

The jobs listed are all CAx (CAD/CAM/CAE) and/or PLM desk jobs, not shop floor.

In another news, Vinfast who were in contention for the MM Nagar plant have chosen Tuticorin.
