Lamborghini Lanzador EV concept unveiled: Will enter production in 2028 Italian supercar brand, Lamborghini, announced 2 years back that it will be introducing a fully-electric model in its lineup by the end of the decade. Now, ahead of its arrival, Lamborghini has revealed an EV concept which previews the upcoming all-electric model, in the form of the Lanzador.
The new Lamborghini Lanzador EV concept gives us a glimpse of what to expect from the production version of the brand's first all-electric supercar. The Lanzador carries forward the distinctive Lamborghini design cues, borrowing styling elements from the recently unveiled Revuelto and the Urus performance SUV. The EV concept is what Lamborghini calls "Ultra-GT" and comes with a high ride height and a 2+2 seating configuration. The Lanzador concept gets 2 doors, 23-inch wheels and a bunch of air vents and flicks to enhance its aerodynamic efficiency.
Inside, the Lamborghini Lanzador concept features sports seats, separate screens for the driver and front passenger and a typical Lamborghini-style starter button with a cover. The four seats inside the EV are said to make use of sustainable leather and recycled materials, along with plenty of carbon fibre. The 2 rear seats also fold down to offer plenty of cargo space.
Lamborghini hasn't revealed too many details of the Lanzador, although the EV is expected to feature a pair of electric motors with a max power output in the range of 1,300 BHP. The EV will also get torque vectoring and rear-wheel steering and ride on adjustable air suspension. Details about the battery packs, charging and range are yet to be revealed.
The Italian supercar brand is slated to put the EV into production in 2028. The production version of the Lanzador will be sold alongside the hybrid versions of Lamborghini's main lineup, which includes the Revuelto, Urus and the upcoming Huracan successor. Link to Team-BHP news
