MG trademarks Excelor EV nameplate in India.

Excelor EV could be MG’s third EV in India after Comet EV and ZS EV.

MG has confirmed two new launches for 2024, and we know that one of them is the 2024 MG Gloster that’s due a mid-lifecycle update with minor cosmetic and equipment upgrades. The other, which will be an electric vehicle, could be what the company has trademarked as the Excelor EV.

Totally agree. I’m not a youngster by any means but I’ll gladly take the 2 door Yep as a second car at home - it is the perfect car for our congested metros - looks funky, Cheap to run, small enough to squeeze in bylanes and park anywhere, and a ground clearance to tackle the infamous humps and craters of my city.

Bring it on MG. I’m in line.

2 door Yep and 4 door Yep Plus or on completely different platforms. With all reviews observing the horrendous ride of the 2 door. The 2 door has a live axle at the rear.
