According to media reports, Tesla is expected to start production of its Cybertruck in Q1 of 2023.
Reports state that initial production numbers will be limited before increasing output. It also states that Tesla is changing multiple features and functions on the Cybertruck to make it more appealing, compared to electric pickups like the Rivian R1T and the Ford F150 Lightning.
A product roadmap for the Cybertruck is expected to be provided by Elon Musk, which will clearly offer the official timeframe for the electric truck's production. Musk claimed that the Cybertruck would be the brand's best product to date. He also mentioned that volume production will commence in 2023.
The Tesla Cybertruck was showcased a couple of years ago and was initially expected to be introduced in 2021. However, constant delays meant that the production of the electric truck had to be pushed back on multiple occasions.
The production of the Cybertruck could happen in Tesla's Gigafactory in Texas, USA, pending approvals from local authorities later this year. The plant currently produces the Model Y.

Tesla's Cybertruck to start mass production at
end of 2023.
That date would mark two full years later than the company’s original target for mass production of the pickup truck, which Elon Musk initially unveiled in 2019.
If the revised timeline holds, that means Tesla won’t see total output for the truck before the end of next year and will record the first full quarter’s production revenue in
2024.

According to media reports, Tesla has finally rolled out the first example of its much-awaited Cybertruck from its Texas Gigafactory. The company celebrated the commencement of production via a group photo at the factory alongside their all-electric pickup.
Reports state that although volume production will commence in 2024, the first deliveries of the Cybertruck will take place sometime by the end of 2023.
The production-spec Tesla Cybertruck though isn't seen clearly, with parts of it hidden amidst the sea of employees all around it. However, reports suggest that it could be identical to the pre-production prototypes spotted in recent times.
While deliveries are expected to start in 2023, Tesla is yet to officially reveal the final production version of the Cybertruck. Reports do suggest that the pickup truck could be unveiled sometime in September this year while also revealing details of the vehicle's specifications.
Upon arrival, the Tesla Cybertruck will rival the likes of the Ford F-150 Lightning, Rivian R1T, GMC Hummer EV and the Chevrolet Silverado EV; among others.
