claims that there was no engine sound at all and there were no tail pipes on this test mule.

Visually there will be some styling tweaks including new headlights, no grille design, new bumpers, new alloy wheels and new tail lights. The interior will get minor visual tweaks as we have already seen the new infotainment system and all-digital instrument cluster update recently.
Expect a driving range of 500 km on full charge. Both the electric SUVs ( Safari+ Harrier) are likely to hit the showrooms by the end of 2024.

Re: Tata Safari electric spotted testing

I saw the Harrier EV in Bangalore near Whitefield office of Harman with full camo. I assume these models had come for the Audio setup testing etc as I had seen the New Gen Nexon EV in the same office 3 months before the Launch. So most probably the Safari EV and Harrier EV twins are almost ready and a possible Q1 / Q2 2024 Launch.

Those vehicle look like older body. Wondering what gives an indication that they are going for ARAI certification

Re: Tata Safari electric spotted testing

I saw an Harrier/Safari in full camouflage a day back in HSR Layout, Bengaluru. It had no sound, so i assumed it to be an EV version. Managed to click a few before i had to run for my errands. Interior doesn't look much different from ICE version though.

From interior picture you took, it has a rotating dial instead of gear knob, so its a EV.

Unless they price it the same as MG ZS, with at least 1.4C charge speed, not sure many will consider this due to Tata niggles and horror experiences during buying and ownership.

Re: Tata Safari facelift spotted testing in Indore

It looks like there is another version of Safari on cards. I found this test mule in Leh last month.

This has to be the Safari EV, then. I guess this is the first time a Safari EV has been spotted testing.

That’s the electric version. No grill or vents for the engine air intake in the front.
