Nissan Ariya electric SUV spotted in India

The Nissan Ariya electric SUV has been spotted in India. The car was snapped while being transported on a flatbed.

The Ariya made its global debut back in July 2020. Measuring 4,595 mm in length, the Ariya is a large electric SUV. It features futuristic styling with a large gloss black panel upfront. It has slim LED headlamps with V-shaped LED daytime running lights.

The minimalistic interior features a simple dashboard with a touchscreen infotainment screen in the centre and a digital instrument cluster.

The Nissan Ariya comes with autonomous driving tech including ProPILOT 2.0 driver assistance system, ProPILOT Remote Park and e-Pedal features. It supports over-the-air (OTA) updates and has an in-built Alexa assistant. Other safety aides include a 360-degree camera, Forward Collision Warning, Emergency Braking and Rear Automatic Emergency Braking.

In the international market, the Ariya comes with either single or dual-motor configurations. Customers can choose between a 65 kWh battery offering up to 450 km of range and a 90 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of up to 580-610 km, depending on the variant.

Re: Nissan Ariya electric SUV spotted in India

Nissan has a few of these and the Patrol SUVs in India. If you live in Gurgaon and if you're in luck, you'll find these parked in the basement at World Mark.

Re: Nissan Ariya electric SUV spotted in India

If Nissan is trying to emulate Hyundai's launch of Ioniq and trying to get some monies, then they better be s-u-r-e. India is not a forgiving market for launches like these.

Re: Nissan Ariya electric SUV spotted in India

It's a beautiful EV but overpriced even in international markets for the range it offers. I wonder how may will be interested in paying such a premium in India.
