Forget proactive replacements, it is seriously irresponsible of Hyundai for not keeping any replacement spares for a part which is known to fail. And, none available after 16 days.

To me, it seems the rot starts from the very top. I wrote an email to senior management of Hyundai and five days since there, there has been no revert, comuunication or update. When accountability is missing at the top, the rest of the system rarely surprises you.
It has now been 25 days since my Ioniq 5 was taken to the workshop due to the ICCU failure, and as of today—April 21, 2025, that car remains at the workshop and I have still not received any written update on when the replacement ICCU will be available.

More alarmingly, both my escalations to senior management of HMIL dated April 9 and April 14 have gone completely unanswered, and no one from the dealer or Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) has contacted me. Messages to the dealer are also going unanswered now.

Looks like I am to be stuck in this for a long time. Starting to regret my decision to buy the Ioniq 5.

Re: Hyundai Ioniq 5 Review

With the facelift in pipeline, what are the current deals prospective buyers have received on the Ioniq? The dealers are offering 4-4.5Lakhs on 2024 models stating that billing and pricing is directly controlled by Hyundai India.
