Re: BYD Atto 3 Review

Any update provided on the BYD mobile APP availability in india?

What is the tentative timeline to make it available?

Realistically will it ever come? Would like to hear from the owners.

It is strange to not have this enabled for this car , we cannot check the charging status etc via app.

Premium 29.99 Lakhs

Brochure Attached
Quick take on new versions:
- The Premium version is the no-brainer option.
- The Superior version is to simply pacify existing customers, who might feel shortchanged with a 4lacs price reduction. No way ADAS is worth that much, as it is pretty much useless.
- The Dynamic version could help snatch some customers from the MG ZSEV and Nexon, as it is now close to their price range. Great buy too, though I would very much recommend the 60kW premium version anyday!

All in all, to summarise:
- In 2023, a car worth 18 lacs in China was launched for 34Lacs in India. An exorbitant price, but savvy customers still bit the bullet for lack of better options in that bracket.
- In 2024, top variant stays the same, but two sanely priced models launch. Still overpriced by atleast 5 lacs, but that’s the case with the Nexon, Ioniq, ZS EV too.

It is not. The only difference between premium and dynamic is auto tail gate, multi colored ambient lights, 10% fast DC charging and 2 extra speakers. This is definitely not worth the 5 lakhs difference.

Well, the primary difference is in the battery capacity ie 50 kWh vs 60 kWh. That is what seem to make the price difference 5L.

I hope you realise there’s a 10kWh difference in battery capacity!

Re: BYD Atto 3 Review

@varkey @evolvo - yeah I missed this info but even then that difference should not cost more than a lakh rupees.(Taking Nexon price difference) You still save a good amount by getting the base variant.
