My EQS just got back from the service center. First and foremost, I’m delighted to inform you that you can disable Auto Emergency Braking, and it remembers and remains disabled.

There are lots of new additions and goodies after the software update. The Zero Layer UI has become smoother and more responsive. They’ve also updated the graphics, which now appear more glassy and smooth.

I haven’t explored everything yet, but here are some of the key additions I’ve noticed so far:

- Driving Sound Experience is now available for the outside too.
- Hotspot connection for OTA updates.
- Route (GPS)-based speed adjustment and intelligent recuperation.
- Active Distance Assist Distronic.
- More music apps, including Tidal and Amazon Music. Tune In Radio now works better in Radio section. However, we’re still missing some useful apps like Dashcam etc.

I too got my software updated in the EQS and the auto braking function is now disabled and remembers. This is a big help.

But the suspension software update was the real winner this time. The car is noticeably better on speed breakers now. Still scraped on a few but majority that earlier it scraped on, did not scrape after the update.

That is an amazing news. How did they disable the emergency braking permanently? Was it in the software update or did they do any alterations?

I cant see any updates in my car. The app on my phone says the Software is up to date with the last update on 29/6/2024 for the communication module. Even when connecting the car to hotspot shows the software is up to date. Did you get a notification on the app for update of did the service center did it by themselves.

Software update. But I got it done at the dealership workshop. They kept the car for 3 days! Said there is only one guy in the entire workshop who is allowed to do the EQ model software updates.

None of these are showing up for me yet

I also connected the car to my mobile's hotspot, yet there is no update showing. Infact the MB iOS app is yet showing that the suspension software is not updated but in reality I am pretty sure it is updated.

Hope MB can sort out their software glitches as it is increasingly important for syncing and updates to run smoothly since so many important issues are now being resolved by mere updates.
