Tata Tiago EV | A Close Look & Preview

Booked the Tiago XZ+ variant in Blue. The dealers are punching entries post 12 PM according to the SA.

I would have loved to book the XT variant if it came with rear washer and fog lamps. Because it is an electric car, do not want to mess with any change to the electrical systems.

I registered my interest in the car on the Tata Motors Tiago EV web page and received a callback. The call centre forwarded my details to Prerana Motors, Rajajinagar.

Today the SA called me and provided me with the pricing details and brochure. I was told that a booking can be made now by paying INR 21,000.

Could someone confirm whether this is right, because as per TaMo the booking only starts on 10th Oct?

Also, is the booking amount correct?

Please let me know, many thanks in advance!

According to the SA I spoke to, 2000 bookings from the first 10000 would be reserved for existing EV TATA customer. All the price protection mails to customer would be sent only from Tata Motors.

I too booked through the dealer paying 21,000. This is a pre booking and the dealer will do the booking on the customers behalf once the official booking window opens.

Has anyone been able to book online so far? I have been trying for the last 30 minutes but the page doesn't load.

Done with the booking at last will finalise it post the test drive in December.

As per booking portal Tiago Ev MR XE will only be available in Pristine White Color.

I hooked around 12.05 pm. Website is crashing & most of us also faced same issues.

Lots of issues with the server. I managed to complete payment at 12.26. Was trying continuously since 12.00 on laptop & mobile, Finally could do it through mobile only. Didn't yet receive Booking confirmation. Received only email from my credit card company that the amount is deducted successfully. I am sure very shortly TAMO will come up with some obscene numbers of booking received for the Tiago EV. As of now I can only wait as to whether or not I got in the luck Introductory offer price list !!

Tata Tiago EV bookings open in India

Tata Motors has opened the order books for the Tiago EV. Customers can book the car by paying a token amount of Rs 21,000.

The Tiago EV is available in four variants: XE, XT, XZ+ and XZ+ Tech LUX, with prices starting at Rs. 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The introductory prices will be applicable for the first 10,000 bookings only.

The Tiago EV is offered with two battery options - a 19.2 kWh battery pack offering a maximum range of 250 km and a 24 kWh battery offering 315 km (MIDC) on a single charge.

Test drives will be available from late December and deliveries will commence in January 2023. According to Tata, production of the 24 kWh variants has been prioritized.

Was a struggle booking. Multiple points of failure. Finally got my payment done at 12.36pm. However, post payment, it did not redirect me to any post payment page and there's no email confirmation as well from Tata. Payment has been successful though. So, now i don't know what's the status of my booking.

I had pre-booked mine with Lakshmi Tata, Chennai. I got a confirmation that mine is booked under 8K bookings. XZ+ Tech Lux, Daytona Grey, 3.3 KW charger. I am not 100% confident until I see a booking confirmation but, this is the latest update with me.
