Re: McMurtry Spéirling. Future of EVs 1000HP

Amazing engineering achievement! Looks out of the world, and almost like a cartoonish Batmobile

Not one but 2 fans for producing downforce (though 1 fan is a back up in case of failure of the second fan), just like the GMA T.50! Saw the video of Mat Watson from 'carwow' where he mentioned that it actually made his head hurt while accelerating from a standstill. And he ended up doing a sub-8 sec 1/4 mile run, which is absolutely bonkers!

Corners with 2T of downforce always available, so does not need air flowing through that rear wing and underbody to corner like a fly. That's how it broke the record at Goodwood hill climb. Though it shows how good the VW ID.R is, even though it is significantly longer/wider/heavier than the Spierling.

Wonder whether McMurty of perhaps any other manufacturer would like to use similar concept at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb where the ID.R still holds the record at 7 min 57.148 sec. Surely the Spierling will be able to conquer it. Should have enough battery capacity to last that long, McMurty engineer mentioned that the battery will drain in 15-20 minutes during track driving, heat is the only limitation.

First it eviscerated a 20+ year old lap record on Top Gear's track... set by a Formula 1 car!

Next, it literally drove upside down:
