Could you please tell if you keep it between 10-80 % charge usually during driving? its usually said these lithium batteries give optimal life if you keep to between this level. which version of car do you have? 2020 version with the slightly higher range or the pre facelift version?
which effectively means the range is about 70 % of the maximum range.
this should translate to about 200 km of usable range ?
I kept this car for 3 days and drove about 150 km from a range is 90 % till 20%
which is about right. hers level 3. included highway and city driving. normal mode. I do drive carefully with a light foot. i think they gave me a 2019 version as per the sa though I'm not sure.
I think with the updates the usable range would be about 180-200 km only if you want to keep the battery health. of course in some situations you could do near 90% range.

I have booked the facelift version. The SA at the Noida showroom has told me that 7th March is most likely the date of launch. He confirmed that he would receive the test vehicles on 5th or 6th. He also confirmed that ZS EV 2022 will come in 4 colours: Black, Silver, Red, Blue (darker than the current one), and surprisingly no White!
He was not sure about inclusion of ADAS, but otherwise he says the car has pretty much every feature of Astor.

Blue is not coming, I am 100% Sure. White is definitely there, while Silver and Black are new. I am not sure if the Silver is Lighter shade or like one in Astor / Hector which looks very premium.

ADAS would have been nice considering the price point it's being launched at, but looks like MG wants it exclusively on Astor.

Anyway, we'll have all the details, First Look and Drive Report of the same very soon. Never thought I would drive an EV so soon. But despite many options in the market, this EV suits users like me the most.

I would have definitely looked forward to a more premium looking darker Blue. Alas, let's see what comes up at launch.

Very confusing, many of the posters who had confirmation from sales folks who attended the training that there is no ADAS in the facelift and now this video which shows ADAS in the facelift.

ADAS is not present. In simple words, Autonomous Driving Features like Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control and such are not present. What is available are Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Detection, etc.

Same features are available in Astor Sharp which also doesn't have ADAS.

• No adas
• 360 camera with blindspot and rear traffic detection
• Rear AC vents and armrest
• Digital cluster and updated main screen
• Astor like black interior trim with red stitching
• Led headlamps
• Colors options - white, black, silver and red
• Single top trim

He has done a trial run as well to test the torque so i guess it’s genuine enough. It sure is disappointing if it were true.

Thanks for the list. If the last item in the list is true it means, for people like me who booked the Excite trim 2021 car, an increase of more than 4 to 6 lakhs to purchase the 2022 ZS EV. That comes to a 20% to 30% hike which is simply astounding. I can't remember any other facelift which did this.

2021 Octavia did this last year.

While it's disappointing, I can see why brands globally are focussing on top trims in this time of supply shortages. No point in keeping the variant on sale when it can't be delivered in a reasonable time frame. That will only earn them customer dissatisfaction and very low profits.

As the video has been removed, here are the main points that he covered in the video.

• The car looks just like Astor, inside and outside.
• The interior has, black upholstery with red stitch. There is a 10 inch screen and MID. Rear armrest and panaromic sunroof are all there.
• On the outisde, there is the integrated body coloured mock grill and LED lamps. He also said there is some fibre attached to the alloy wheels. Not sure what exactly that is.
• No ADAS. Some basis fetures of Drive Assist are there, but no Autonomous Level 2.
• He told colour options to be white, black, silver, and not sure about blue.
• Motor is 50 kWh and there is a definite reduction in torque.
• No particular information about number of variants & price.
