Delhi-based start-up EV Plugs has launched a web and mobile-based app that provides information about the nearest electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.



EV Plugs claims to be the first independent aggregator app for EV charging stations in the country. There are over 1,000 verified EV charging stations currently listed on the app. It also provides useful tips for EV owners. In the future, the company plans to introduce other value-added services along with the facility to book slots at these charging stations.

EV Plugs was co-founded in 2021 by EV enthusiasts Manish Narang, Kapil Narang and Ashwani Arora. The company has raised undisclosed funding from their family and friends.

The EV Plugs app is available on iOS / Android and on their website.

Just tried this App. Even the rural and remote charging points (like few in Kasaragod (KL), Sakleshpura (KA)) are updated.

However, iOS app doesn't seem to be live yet.

Sweet to hear . Always love stuff that's well-executed. On the other hand, if Google Maps properly lists every EV charging station in India and shows other data (availability + waiting time + uptime + fees etc.), that would be the death knell for such an app. And Google will do it for sure. It's very good at aggregating data like this.

Checked MapMyIndia page and they are updated too. Additional live data on uptime and availability will be excellent.
