Tesla Model Y spotted testing in India - Post moved to a new thread.
More than the Model 3, i want the Model Y to come to India quickly, the reason being that even internally in the company Model Y is being updated earlier than the Model 3 and receiving a bulk of consistent quality improvements and upgrades.
With the hatchback and gimmicky 6 seater option and slightly raised suspension I hope Tesla brings the Y along with the 3.

If you’re referring to Model Y with 4680 and Structural battery, it’s rumoured to be another trim within the model Y as opposed to all the trims getting those upgrades.
I’d also much prefer Tesla bring Model Y instead of 3 due to the popularity of SUVs over sedans but I guess they’re trying to keep the lower cost in mind — SR+ trim on model 3 is less than $40K, thus subject to lower import duty slab than the base model Y which is around $48K, thus gets 100% import duty and becomes $96K.
Is it possible to run the temp plates to find out who imported it. The reason might become clearer then.

Scoop! Tesla Model Y spotted in Himachal Pradesh
A Tesla Model Y electric crossover has been spotted in Himachal Pradesh. We have seen Tesla models being tested elsewhere in the country, but now the company seems to have shifted gears and commenced cold-weather testing.
The Model Y is a crossover based on the Model 3 and comes in a 5 or 7-seat configuration. It looks almost similar to the Model 3 and shares 75% of its components with the sedan. However, it has a raised ride height and some minor design changes.
The Model Y comes with Autopilot semi-autonomous driving capability and the vehicles can be updated Over-The-Air (OTA).
The Model Y comes with a single or dual-motor setup. Depending on the variant, the Model Y can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.5 - 6.0 seconds.

Recently I was in Dubai where I took Model 3 as Uber Taxi on consistent basis.
Sad part is uber driver didn't let me drive
I found the front seat to be comfortable and car looked miles ahead of anyone else. Driver complained about the glass roof as during summers as the cabinet would become too hot. Back seats had zero underthigh support.
Not sure how much things have improved in Model Y especially for back seat.

Forget the Tesla, I am more interested in the Toyota FJ40 and the LC200 in the background.

The dark green FJ40 (open top) is owned by the family who runs this resort. They also have another red FJ40 (fixed roof) in the collection.
The LC200 however might be a guest's car.

Nice; I discovered A W124 and a W210 Wagon In an Old Property by the name John Banon Hotel in Manali in 2016.
Both these cars were picked up by a friend later on.
