Automobili Pininfarina has finally unveiled the first production-intent version of the Battista at the Monterey Car Week in California (USA). The new Pininfarina Battista is said to be the world's first pure-electric hyper-GT, powered by a 1900 BHP electric powertrain.



The Battista showcased at the Monterey Car Week comes with a Black Exposed Signature Carbon exterior finish, complemented with polished forged-aluminium alloy wheels.



The interiors of the electric Hyper-GT features Pilota seats finished in sustainable black leather, with Iconica Blu Alcantara quilted upholstery and contrast stitching. The Battista is also said to receive an Interior Jewellery Pack finished in brushed aluminium anodised in black.



Automobili Pininfarina will also showcase the soundscape, currently under development for the Battista. The unique sound follows the brand's 'Pure Sound' philosophy, which is said to have a core frequency of 54 Hz, along with an organic frequency that is a multiple of 432 Hz.



Alongside the production-spec Battista electric hyper-GT, Pininfarina will also be showcasing the Battista Anniversario model. This special edition version will be limited to just 5 units.

A purely driver oriented interior and cockpit display design! And very unusual placement of displays but looking good, at least not the usual mundane trend. But the steering wheel will block some part of the screen. The controls look minimal, but with few tactile switches, that's good.

The last car, that was given so much focus on acoustic tuning of power train was the Lexus LFA, good to see this again but on an EV.
