I fully echo the sentiments in the last 2 posts by our distinguished BHpians. Both in terms of the product and the type of business, OLA app and OLA Electric are poles apart.

Any organisation is much more than the sum of the people’s experience/knowledge that make up the team. A team with just highly talented individuals cannot in most of the cases replace organisational knowledge and experience. Else, companies like M&M and Tata wouldn’t be still struggling to get few basic things right. What the recent commoditisation of battery and motor technology has done to people with access to funds is, give them a false sense of simplicity of building a car. One can build a prototype with sourced parts, but putting it to mass production, ensuring quality, distribution and ASS is an entirely different ball game. Just ask Elon Musk!!
