The additional battery pack is positioned in the boot. The 17 kWh pack alone is said to provide 110 - 200 km of range, depending on various factors. The additional battery pack also weighs in at 175 kg and is said to cost Rs. 3.25 lakh, inclusive of taxes.

Re: Northway Motorsport's modified E2O claims 350 km range

Higher mileage is always welcome, but I have concerns related to the so-called strategic placement of batteries in the boot especially when there are high chances of someone rear-ending your car in cities. Apart from the physical damage, there are chances of fire mishaps as well. But again it's just me and I would like to hear the thoughts from experts here.
