After having been able to check out both the Enyaq and the ID.4, I am convinced that the Enyaq has the ID.4 beaten in terms of the interior quality. However, in terms of exterior I think the ID.4 is a better looking car from any angle.

In Finland the Enyaq iV 80 is available in only one base variant costing just under €50K, with almost everything else needing to be added as an option, even the 125kW charging and a Schuko charging cable. I thought it's because there are some incentives in Finland for EVs costing less than €50K. But no, this is a new direction Skoda has chosen to go in with the Enyaq in all markets, although features in the base model vary according to the market.

Skoda Enyaq iV Coupe spotted ahead of global unveil

The upcoming Skoda Enyaq iV Coupe has been spotted ahead of its global debut.

One of the spy images shows the Enyaq iV Coupe in silver with a sloping roofline. Apart from this, the image also shows the Enyaq iV Coupe sporting a slightly tweaked set of tail lights. The crossover can also be seen riding on a unique set of alloy wheels.



Apart from the Coupe-like roofline, no other changes are expected on the upcoming model. The Skoda Enyaq iV Coupe will use the same powertrain options as the regular Enyaq iV SUV. This includes a 55 kWh battery pack producing 146 BHP and 220 Nm. There is also a 62 kWh battery pack producing 177 BHP and 310 Nm available. Both these variants will come with a single rear-mounted electric motor as standard.

A third variant comes with an 82 kWh battery pack. The base trim features a single rear-mounted electric motor producing 201 BHP, while the top trims come with dual electric motors producing either 261 BHP or 302 BHP.

Enyaq is super efficient, luxurious and spacious, Skoda India must consider this for our market. Reviews says 80KWH variants travel 400+km even at highway speeds like 90KMPH. Skoda can try it above Kodiaq in its line up along with a rapid charger for the owner's locality.

Skoda Enyaq Sportline iV 80x revealed, the new range-topping version of the Electric SUV





The new Enyaq Sportline iV 80x is powered by dual electric motors with a combined output of 261 HP and 425 Nm. At the there's a permanent-magnet synchronous motor producing 201 HP and 310 Nm, while at the front there’s an asynchronous motor with up to 107 HP and 162 Nm giving the Enyaq 80x all-wheel-drive as well.



The Enyaq Sportline iV 80x is powered by a 82 kWh battery and can cover more than 500 km in the WLTP cycle. Its top speed is 160 km/h.



The Sportline trim of the all-electric Enyaq is also available with two more powertrain options: the rear-drive 60 model comes with 177 HP and a smaller 62 kWh battery, while the rear-drive 80 offers 201 HP with the larger 82 kWh battery



The Sportline versions of the Enyaq feature a lowered chassis by 15mm at the front and by 10mm at the rear, with model-specific springs and dampers.



Visual differences include gloss black detailing for the grille surround, the front bumper’s air curtains, wing mirrors, window frames, and roof rails. The roof spoiler is finished in matt black, the rear sports bumper gets a gloss black diffuser, while the front bumper sports a large air inlet with a honeycomb mesh and a chin spoiler.



A set of optional 21-inch wheels (20-inch as standard) together with black exterior lettering.



Standard equipment of the new Skoda Enyaq Sportline iV 80x includes full-LED Matrix headlights, a three-spoke sports steering wheel, a 13-inch infotainment system, black sports seats with integrated headrests dressed in Suedia microfiber and leather, black leather-style fabric on the dashboard, a black headliner, aluminum pedals, and carbon-effect trim pieces around the cabin.



Customers can also opt for a heads-up display with augmented reality, Park Assist, and the brand’s semi-autonomous Travel Assist feature.

ŠKODA AUTO manufactures 100,000th iV vehicle.



The 100,000th electrified vehicle – an ENYAQ iV – rolled off the production line at ŠKODA AUTO’s main plant today( 30th Aug).

The Czech manufacturer uses the ‘iV’ badge to identify models that have a partially or fully electric powertrain. ŠKODA AUTO currently produces three iV series: the ŠKODA SUPERB iV and ŠKODA OCTAVIA iV plug-in hybrids, as well as the all-electric ŠKODA ENYAQ iV.

ŠKODA will be launching at least three more all-electric models by 2030

Enyaq might hit Indian shores next year. This should be a right step in the right direction. Being a CBU prices will be higher side, but given the electric options availability in market is still less would be good opportunity for prospective buyers.
