Mercedes-Benz displayed the EQC 'Edition 1886' at the Auto Expo 2020. The Edition 1886 highlights the company's transition to a new era - the electric vehicle - and pays homage to the first production automobile in the world. The German carmaker is
reported to introduce its EQ sub-brand in India in April 2020, with this car:
The all-electric EQC is based on a modified version of the GLC's platform. It measures 4,761 mm in length, 1,884 mm in width, 1,624 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,873 mm. Edition 1886 is offered in a silver shade with colour coordinated interior and exteriors elements:
At the front, it gets gloss black grille and lower louvres:

EQC is powered by dual electric motors - one on each axle. They deliver a combined output of 402 BHP and 760 Nm and come paired with an 80 kWh lithium-ion battery. The EQC is claimed to offer a range of 445-471 km on the NEDC cycle:
