When will you be ready to buy an Electric Car?

Voted for 5+ because 20+ was not available.

I will buy an EV if the energy density of batteries go close to 10% of petrol, till then, all the claims of being environment friendly notwithstanding, EVs are not going to give the required driving persistence.

Sad that there is no -5 years option.. My first EV was 5 years back.

My fear with EV was - Battery. But having used the my E2O for 5yrs with no range depletion, today I am far more confident about EV tech.

My 5th yearly service of E2O about a month+ back cost me Rs.257 (you heard it right)!! Have not had any expensive replacements so far. Though the fiber body rattles now, have a weird problem with the left door getting jammed.

But, none of that has anything to do with EV drive.

So, I voted "ready now". In fact, I am in the process of buying 2nd EV right now, most probably Nexon (Kona being 2nd strong option).
