I just realised that I never used the "electrostatic sticker" due to paucity of time while installation and because I couldn't open its double sided tape.
What is it's exact use and what are the repercussions for not using it?

Its tough to remove it off the glass when you want to replace. I had to apply 'goo gone' and gently pry it open in order to avoid damage. With the sticker, it just comes off

Re: DIY: Installing a Dashcam in my Honda Jazz

Can someone suggest good tape that can hold the dashcam? One came with dashcam hold it firmly for many years but then I have to remove it and since then I couldn't find a proper tape that has strength to hold it like before, it falls off after few jerks or on its own after few hours. Locally I find .5cm wide and thin 3m tapes but not the thick one which is shipped with the camera.

Would suggest to buy electrostatic sticker and double sided tape purpose made for dashcam from the vendor selling those

Available for both ddpai and 70mai. Many options are there,

Previously bought from them directly, no issue in shipping or refund/exchange.

If your dashcam is of some other brand and not sure these tape would fit, then can go for 3M double sided tape.

It’s very informative. By the way, does anyone know where can I purchase only the windshield sticker in order to reinstall the camera from one car to another car?

Re: DIY: Installing a Dashcam in my Honda Jazz

This is not related to dashcam. Just wondering if anyone know the Honda Brio windshield washer pump Fuse location? Manual did not specify the fuse for Washer pump and there is no marking on the fuse cover. Is it possible that washer pump fuse combined with some other accessories. Wipers are working fine.
