Finally after a hunt since 4 months, I sourced a cruise control stalk to match the polo ( one with rear wiper controls but no trip buttons on the right stalk ) and spent the first half of the sunday installing it in my 2015 GT TSI. Process was fairly straight forward, thanks to the detailed thread by Gannu. I had 2 roadblocks with inserting the pins into the BCM and the ECU. However, some wiggling and pin removal tools rescued me.

Have read this thread umpteen number of times since this is something I want to add to my Rapid Tsi AT. However am not so confident in doing this alone.

Does anyone know of a competent workshop in NCR who has done this addition before ?

Was thinking of doing this as well, but not able to find any link to wiring harness. Google search showed some results, but not sure if those are the actual ones that is required.

I'm not sure. I got mine with stalk itself. BUT I never ended up installing, still lying in some corner of the house.

I rarely use Polo for longer runs now and its 7.5 years old.

Unfortunately mine is not working.I have done all, CCS all wiring as per details(Power & ECM lines too),Stalks,BCM Changed and coding done, and I am having 2014 Polo GT 1.6tdi having the Lowline Instrument Cluster with Red Display.
Is the red instrument cluster compatable with cruise control or do I need to replace the Instrument Cluster unit now.

Hello everyone,

I tried to do this retrofit, I own a Polo 6R GTI with 2.0 TFSI swapped engine. The only difference is the ecu. I did every step but when i turn on cruise control I get an error message on ecu saying Cruise Control Set Signal, Lower limit not reached (P0568). I checked twice all the connections also.
I found in a pdf that the cable from pin 28 needs to splice to fuse 11b and i can't find what b means for fuses.
Also I found that the ECU pin for cruise control is 18. I logged live data for all the cruise control buttons and seems that everything works as it should.

There is a guy having garage somewhere in Punjab. He installs these mods including parts, even electric seats. Cost will also be similar to your DIY. Search on YouTube.

No, I sold them to a fellow Bhpian. I bought it from Aliexpress, but I guess it no longer ships from there.
