Lynx School bus

Ashok Leyland seems to be aggressive about school buses this time...here is the new design LYNX - 45 Seater school bus. And also the STAG - 36 seater (blue colour) on similar lines.

The front and rear end styling of those AL Lynx and Stag buses are similar to the JNNURM city buses doing duty here in Calcutta.Pretty neat IMO.

An unusual Ashok Leyland bus built by RubyBus. The side window design is a bit different from what we usually come across.

Also the APSRTC JnNURM AL SLF buses seems to be built by Ruby Bus.

Any idea who is the body builder? The Temp numbers say "PB..." - are they from JCBL or some builder in Punjab?

Could be an export model - I remember having seen such buses long back from Ruby heading to Mumbai Port. Those days the front design was different, and it used to be TATA. Ruby was a specialist in building TATA buses back then.

Certainly looks like an export model. Those half sliding windows won't quite work in Indian climatic conditions.

Real ugly buses, if you ask me. TATA Starbus is better in this aspect.

The first Ruby bus does look kinda nice from the side though.

New Starbus or concept?

Hey, can anyone tell me if this is a concept or the new Starbus from Tata-Marcopolo. I think it looks nice enough (not awesome though).

are DTC using this or TATA supplying these with Chinese tyres.
