Does this site work?

Also, the Ace 2010 is already released in selected ares. Its promotions has not started on a national level.

Super ACE 1.0 ton is a new product, sold along with ACE 0.8. Venture is based on Super ACE.

Interestingly it looks like the bus is made by Alma Motors. Whom should we give credit for this beautiful bus?

The Maxximo excites me a lot. The engine is far superior than any other in its segment. Mahindra claims that this is the first of its kind C2 CRDe engine in its segment. This means that the Maxximo will be more powerful than the Ace or other players in the LCV segment. Definately much better than the 3 wheeled ones on the road. I see this working pretty well in the market. Considering that Tata Ace dominates almost 90% of the market share, it would be interesting to see how much the Maxximo is able to eatup.

The website works fine in my browser and I must say I am surprised and stunned to find such a well designed website for a CV. Mahindra has definitely taken this aspect of designing seriously atleast

A break Up of the Various players in the segment.

Since the Maxximo, The Trump and the Ace are covered lets see some more.

I have collected each of the Pictures from an Article in the December Issue of BS Motoring. I am also Attaching an excel file with the difference in specs of the Maxximo, Ace and Force M4 Super which is something I posted in one of my other threads except that I have added the Force M4 super to the comparison as well.

Why BS Motoring, cos they did a nice writeup explaining the segment to the avg man like my self and I think it makes for an Interesting read though its not exactly detailed.

Which is why I worked out the Excel file which will follow in my next post.

Some of the data isn't complete and that's cos Force decided that there website was for other things and not to give all the Information on the products they make and sell.

Read Away.

First is the Force then Followed by the Mahindra's (not included the Maxximo since its already in the Thread). Then followed by the Piaggio.

The older Trump from Force is called Trump 15, its a 790 Kg payload. It just looks like M4.

But the new Trump is called Trump 40, its much bigger than the earlier model and has 1100 Kg payload.

Right you are Kadri, the Bolero Maxxi truck and the TATA super Ace will I believe compete with the trump 40 in the category for the 1+ tonne category.

The Bolero as the car won an award in consumer satisfaction as conducted by the TNS Automotive Survey. Considering the sales figs and the fact that the Bolero Maxxi truck has the same engine. Any Idea as to which is the better amongst the 3. I am leaning towards the Ace just by the sheer number I see in Mumbai but I may be wrong, hence the question

I think Tata Ace Super and Force Trump 40 are very new to market and in Bangalore at least they are not in good numbers. I saw only 1 Trump 40 till now.

Also Trump has one more strong competitor , the Ape Truk Plus which was launched few months back.

Also I saw a few Premier Roadstar in Mangalore. Seems to have picked up in few places.

Now customers have got some good choices including the recent Mahindra Maxximo.

I think it will take some time for everyone to prove. But truly the SCV (Small Commercial Vehicle) segment has become hot and exciting.
