GM Modular's showroom on wheels | Designed by DC Designs

Spotted in Bombay, The customized luxury showroom on wheels created by DC Design Studio is based on a regular bus for GM Modular, a company known for producing switches, fans, and other small electrical items. The bus has been designed as a portable luxury showroom for the company, allowing them to showcase their products at various locations.

The design of the GM luxury showroom on wheels is extremely radical and much more extreme than any contemporary buses sold in India. The front features a sloping, wraparound-styled windscreen with slim, trapezoidal clusters for the all-LED headlamps. The lower half of the front profile has a wraparound grille with horizontal slats.

It's probably based on a Bharat Benz 2823 truck chassis, from what I can discern from the wheel hubs and proportions.

Looks more like vanity van than a showroom.

Don't understand the purpose - Where are the actual products to be displayed? Or they want to display the showroom?

Wow that's definitely eye-catching, and has a bit of a Batman vibe to it.

Am curious where they got that front windshield from. Guessing it's from some modern train?

It's both. With GM being a mega-brand for electrical switches etc, they would be present and all kinds of trade shows several times a year. Rather than having a "normal" stall (which requires set-up, dismantling, etc every time) -- why not just have a mobile one that also gets a lot of attention, looks cool, and is very different from all the other competitor displays.

You can see the interiors here:
