Maruti offers its TOUR range with low-interest rates and flexible financing options, allowing for an accessible pathway for fleet owners. The cars are powered by CNG powertrain and all models come with speed-limiting systems, as per government regulations.

Mr Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, stated, "Our TOUR range has become a part of several entrepreneurial aspirations, acting as a trusted partner on their road to success. Maruti Suzuki understands the critical importance of minimizing downtime for businesses, and the TOUR Range has consistently delivered on this promise, ensuring uninterrupted operations for its users. These vehicles also come equipped with essential features to ensure compliance with Government regulations. The option of CNG powertrain significantly reduces running cost while also reducing carbon footprint."

Re: Maruti Suzuki TOUR range achieves 5 lakh sales milestone

This is how TeamBhp-ians predicted the future of the Indian taxi industry post BS6. A banned member 'Wheel guy' correctly predicted the rise of Maruti CNG.

https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/india...axi-scene.html (BS6 impact on the Indian taxi scene?)

The peak of safe Indian taxi industry was when 4 star Toyota Etios was a dominant player. Previously it used to be utterly unsafe Omni and now it is back to unsafe Alto, Wagon R. Innova continues to reign in MUV segment though partly replaced by Ertiga.

Lack of safe cars as taxis is one of the main reasons I decided to buy my own car.
