Four Rows of seats, two doors on each side. A rear door that opens to the back of the last-row bench. Wonder what is the target market segment ?

I guess they are targeting the Sumo segment with this vehicle and I feel it will find an appeal in rural segments as a mass mover. May be a poor man's innova.

Force does make some very good cars and they are undervalued and underappreciated by us. But, the level of misuse of Force vehicles also must be addressed in some way.

I personally think, Companies like "Force motors" should be mandated to install non movable Arm rests or rather i prefer to call as "iron Seat separators".

I am tired of seeing 30 people loading into Force Toofan Cabs and a few hanging from the rear door all while the driver is driving as if its an SUV. This nonsense must be stopped.

Force Toofan is a very popular vehicle especially in the northern parts of Karnataka and whenever there is a political rally in Bangalore I always see these vehicles in awe. They literally fit in a whole village into them and the speeds they ply at, leaves me dumbstruck.

Force Citiline 10-seater MUV launched at Rs 15.93 lakh

Force Motors has launched a 10-seater MUV called the Citiline. It is based on the Trax Cruiser and is priced at Rs 15.93 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Force Citiline features a new body-coloured grille with the 'Citiline' logo flanked by square-ish headlamp clusters and body-coloured bumpers and wheel arches.

The Citiline measures 5,120 mm in length. It has a fairly basic interior with 4-rows of seats. That includes a 60:40 split seat in the second row, two captain seats in the third row and a front-facing bench seat at the back.

The Citiline is powered by a Mercedes-Benz-derived 2.6-litre diesel engine that makes 90 BHP and 250 Nm. It is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Re: Force Citiline 10-seater MUV launched at Rs 15.93 lakh

A vehicle developed squarely keeping the north Indian rural market in mind. Literally just extended the frame and plonked an extra set of seats at the back. Who cares about aesthetics when all that is required is extra seating.

One can see hundreds of copies of the donor vehicle (Force Trax Cruiser) bursting at its seams carrying as many as double the sanctioned capacity of passengers in the rural areas of Gujarat and Rajasthan (other states I have not been to, to make a comment)

Sadly this will continue till the time Police apathy does not end.

It looks like Land Rover Defender 130 inspired someone in the Force motor team. Jokes apart the legroom is non-existent in the rows behind driver’s seat. I am already feeling sorry for those who will be travelling in this one. That said, North India market will be soon flooded with these carrying 20 or even 30 people on board.

Re: Force Citiline 10-seater MUV launched at Rs 15.93 lakh

Pardon me but this looks like a steal deal for people who were looking for a cheap campervan but are not comfortable driving the Force Traveler because it's too big. This is like the perfect camping vehicle. Lesser weight and size compared to Traveler and almost the same power but still big enough to build a near complete over lander for two people. Plonk a roof top tent on this, a small kitchen inside and you are all set for the best time of your time.

Whatever sales it achieves, it will be based only on necessity and not looks.

The designers have simply stretched the vehicle without a thought to the asthetics.

Do the Citiline even have air-conditioning?

Yes it does. Apart from the usual vents on the dashboard, rear vents are provided on the roof.

Re: Force Citiline | 10-seater MUV with all front facing seats | Launched at Rs 15.93L

Let's say someone buys this because he's got a limited budget and needs a people mover for 10 people. If he puts some neat alloys on this MUV, along with slightly fatter tyres, de-stickering, some blackening of bits, nice number plates...it'll look pretty awesome, no? Don't underestimate the value of aesthetics; everyone wants their vehicle to look good. Even the autorickshaw guy.

I can't be the only one out here thinking this extended MUV has the potential to look handsome .

That also says a lot about its toughness & durability, no?

Reminds me of 3 Idiots dialogue (Engineers) ne Poora .... kar diya

Whats is left to do of the poor Tempo Trax platform. The Germans added 2 wheels to the G63, we added more doors and seats.

PS - this was seen some time ago
