This is the old Tempo Traveler, not Urbania. Both vehicles are going to coexist though, with Urbania at a higher price point.

Traveler 26 to be exact. The only 6-wheeled, lane-hugging variant in the Force family.

Initially, it was called the Traveller Royale which came with a 3.2 five cylinder engine in the BS4 guise.

Re: Force Motors unveils the Urbania

Force silently launched new model of 3350WB URBINIA MB for privet users.

They just removed one seat from last row making it a 8+D.

Now passengers can enter from rear too.

Edited on MS paint.
They also added a new variation of 3615WB model with one less seat.

Now its 12+D, here is a price list.

No info is available on website only pric list is updated.

I casually spotted it parked in local dealer just went in to see it. (no pics)

Re: Force Motors unveils the Urbania

Anybody has an idea about whether the force urbania (comfortable seats) is available for hire in Bangalore?

Looking for a comfortable 8/10 seater vehicle for elderly folks for a 2500kms road trip :P

Any leads/recommendations would be sincerely appreciated

Wow! This is an interesting proposition. I think this will be a hit among large families in tier 2/3 cities.

Re: Force Motors unveils the Urbania

Saw the Urbania in flesh a few days ago at the Dealership. The design is to drool upon having the Daimler DNA in it with that 2.6L Engine.

A Pic of Posing with the Urbania :

The 10+1 Seater Version is an ideal buy but I doubt how many would actually buy this for Private Use although it can be an amazing Family Tourer with Lots of space to play around with. Some interior customization would make it an Ideal Caravan for Cross Country Drives. But I guess for most people in India, that still remains a Big Taboo, however the cult is growing day by day !

Re: Force Motors unveils the Urbania

I personally felt the Urbania awkward looking. In order to maximize internal space they have made the body absolutely squarish. It looks like a bread box that has been placed on the backside. Most vans in the world have a slight curvature. Also because of this the wheels/tyre looks hopelessly small compared to the size of the vehicle although in actual numerical terms is not that bad.
