Looks like a refreshed Bolero Pikup, which is currently available in the 1.3T and 1.7T capacity. This new one has a few changes esp in the headlamps, front bumper, and also a shallower cargo bay. Looks a tad better than the current versions. Will have to check for the changes in specs.

I wonder why M&M nver offer 4WD in their commercial pickups? The hilly areas prone to mud slides really need them. 64hp/195nm is quiet underpowered for the load they have to carry. I guess its the low end torque that pulls them through and make them a workhorse.

Bolero Single & Dual cab (camper) always had 4WD option. You can see them in Borewell trucks in the city or as normal utility truck in the hills. There is no problem with power, it would come to a dead stop on steep inclines and then pull away with ease.

Its not underpowered at all. With Ultra short gearing Bolero Campers are perfectly comfortable pulling any loads, even at high altitude or steep climbs. The secret is ultra short gearing and not the 195nm of torque or 64hp of power.

If you want to cruise at triple digit speeds at highways or to do fast overtaking, it can't, runs out of gearing/breath for sure but for pulling loads it perfectly fine.

4x4 is available in many variants of Camper.

Interesting to see that finally Mahindra thought of giving the Bolero sibling a different shape. These Maxx pickups are work horses and have somehow become a staple name for loading trucks. As they call it Kerala, either Ape, Ace, Dost or Bolero.. if you need a larger one then we have Nissan (which is actually a Mahindra truck).

From the little I know, they sit right next to Intra & the bigger Dost in terms of tonnage. What is the actual market share for Bolero in this category?
