Peugeot Boxer Low Roof Van spotted testing in India

Hello friends, could not find any thread related to Peugeot Expert, so starting a new one!

On my way around the town yesterday, I spotted this black Peugeot van in Manali. Could not look at the name, model or number as we were a little far away, but looking at Peugeot's range of vans in the UK, seems like this is the facelifted Expert, because Peugeot Boxer seems big like a Force Traveller and Peugeot Partner seems small like a Nissan Evalia!

This model was more or less the size of a Tata Winger, but the height was somewhere between the Flat Roof and High Roof models. If anyone knows the exact model name or number, do report the post and get the heading changed!

I was in Manali for a couple of days last month. I stayed at Naggar road and I guess I saw the same van. I was explaining to my wife about the brand, and now it has made it to Teambhp.

This might be a Fiat Ducato van. Door profile, side mirror and front grille shape are typical Fiat (see image below)

Carefully zoom in and look at the logo placement and color it is definitely not a Fiat, but Peugeot!

As I wrote in my initial post, Boxer is a size similar to the Force Traveller, and this wasn't as high or long.

Expert is the size of a Tata Winger, and this was of the height between the High Roof and Flat Roof models, so fits more aptly with the size I saw in flesh.

And, Peugeot partner is even small, like a Nissan Evalia.

Not sure, but does the highlighted part look like "EV" written above the fuel filler cap, or would it be just Fuel Specifications etc. on a sticker?

On zooming in, I think the spotted vehicle was the size of the Boxer, but not a High Roof model, just a low roof model. Can't be too sure till I see it again up close and get the details.

It is definitely the Peugeot Boxer. This ones the exact replica of the one in Manali. Low roof version. These are really common in and around Europe. This competes with Vans like Mercedes-benz Sprinter, Renault Master, VW Crafter as well as Opel Movano back in Europe. So good to see them in India.Name: peu.jpg

The Citroen Jumper, Peugeot Boxer and Fiat Ducato are basically the same vehicle that is brand engineered (sold in NA as RAM ProMaster)!

Re: Peugeot Boxer Low Roof Van spotted testing in India

Finally got to see the test mule again near Manali this morning, it is indeed a Peugeot Boxer on test.
